Gary Thinel Bishop, 22, was found dead this afternoon in Saluda County. No foul play is suspected. He was a junior graphic communications student from Newberry. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2  at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1501 College Street, Newberry.

Clemson University’s municipal court changes business hours beginning May 27

Clemson University’s Municipal Court office will change its business hours for the summer.  The office will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning Monday, May 27 through Friday, August 16, 2013.  This change will not affect the current schedule for bond hearings. Facilities update: Road closures-Press Road and Cemetary Road

Press Road, located behind the south stands of Memorial Stadium, and Cemetery Road from Centennial Boulevard by the Woodland Cemetery to Williamson Road have been closed to accommodate nearby construction.
