Convocation processional canceled due to weather forecast

Due to inclement weather in the forecast, Tuesday’s (Aug. 20) convocation processional has been canceled. However, administrative officers and special guests whose starting point of the processional was Sikes Hall should meet either in Sikes Hall lobby at 8:30 a.m. – for bus transportation to the Brooks Center – or meet at the Brooks Center theatre at 8:50 a.m. These guests are asked to sit in the lower box area.

Tyrecia D. Benson, retiree – Aug. 11, 2013

Tyrecia Denice Benson, 56, of Central died Aug. 11, 2013. She was a building/grounds specialist in University Housing and retired in 2012 with seven years of service. Funeral arangements will be announced by Adams Mortuary in Seneca.
