Clemson Bike Week May 20-24

In accordance with National Bike Month, Clemson University Parking and Transportation Services will host the university’s first annual Bike Week May 20-24. As part of the celebration, Parking and Transportation Services, Campus Outdoor Recreation and Education (CORE), Clemson University Police Department and Bike Street USA will conduct a series of events during the week, including:

  • A bike repair workshop 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21;
  • A bike safety seminar 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 22;
  • A weeklong Clemson Bike Bingo contest, with the chance to win a prize provided by Bike Street USA; and
  • The launch of Clemson’s Park + Bike pilot program on Friday, May 24.

As an added incentive, Bike Street USA will give all Clemson students, faculty and staff discounts on select items such as bike racks, helmets, tire levers, chain lube, bike pumps, and tubes. On Friday, May 24, CORE will waive bicycle rental fees for the launch of the Park + Bike pilot program.
