Today’s First Friday Parade will begin as scheduled at 6 p.m. However, the afternoon weather forecast is calling for scattered thunderstorms. Should a storm commence during the parade, officials will direct the crowds to seek shelter. If lightning occurs within a six-mile radius of the parade route, law enforcement officials will sound the campus warning sirens and encourage participants to seek shelter immediately.
