CLEMSON — David Fleming has been named interim associate provost and dean of Clemson University’s Graduate School, effective June 16, 2019.
Fleming will oversee all activities within the Graduate School. This includes advising the provost on policy related to graduate education, overseeing all processes from application through graduation, and professional development for graduate students. Fleming will lead the Graduate School staff in working closely with academic units to support their goals and mission, developing and supporting innovative initiatives in graduate education, and evaluating and maintaining the exceptional quality of programs offered at Clemson.
Fleming joined the Clemson faculty in 2006. He has amassed more than $5 million in externally funded grants to support his work in alternative education programming.
