Eating study: Get two free meals and earn $20

It doesn’t get better than this – eat, make money and contribute to research.

Researchers in the psychology department are seeking volunteers for a study on patterns in eating behavior. Participants will receive two free meals and will be paid $20. The study takes place over two sessions on two separate days, and each session lasts about an hour.

Participation involves three parts. First, participants will fill out an online questionnaire that will determine their eligibility for the study. Participants are then scheduled for two eating sessions, which last about an hour each. During the eating session, researchers will take participants’ body measurements, including weight, height, body fat percentage, mouth volume, and waist and hip measurements.

Open to the university’s faculty, staff and students, this study will begin the week of May 2 and continue through early summer.
