Five fun things to do at Clemson over the holidays

By Kelly McKeon, Class of 2020

Oh, there’s no place like home for the holidays! Luckily for many of us, Clemson is home. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of gift-giving and party-attending, there are plenty of fun activities to do here for the holidays. Here is a list of the top five things to do in Clemson during the holiday season:

Looking for a great place to take your Christmas card picture? Hoping to spread some fun holiday cheer? Look no further – bring your friends, family, or a mix of both to the Clemson Alumni Center to take a photo! Whether you are working toward your ring, have your ring, or are helping students get their rings, the giant ring in front of the Clemson Alumni Center is a great backdrop for holiday pictures! Be sure to tag @ClemsonAlumni and @InsideClemson if you post pictures on Social Media.

While you are partaking in an on-campus photoshoot, you may as well head over to Littlejohn Coliseum and take a picture with the iconic Tiger statue! Arguably the best Tiger statue on campus, the Littlejohn Tiger is a great prop for photos. Tag @InsideClemson if you post any pictures with the Tiger!

If you are already at Littlejohn, you should stop in for a game! The men and women’s basketball seasons are continuing through the holiday season. The men’s team will be playing Dec. 15, 18 and 30 and the women’s team will be playing Dec. 16, 18 and 21. What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with a Tiger win?
