Joseph F. Sullivan Center offering discounted rates on physicals

The Joseph F. Sullivan Center is offering comprehensive physical exams for $50 from Oct. 25 – Dec. 13.

Each physical, which normally costs $130, includes BMI calculation, vision and hearing testing, physical assessment of all major systems, prostate exams for men and pelvic exams for women, and laboratory testing for urinalysis and hemoglobin. The exam also includes a discussion of personal health history and the opportunity to ask health-related questions. Registered nurses completing the advanced physical assessment course at Clemson will conduct the exams.

Housed on the first floor of Edwards Hall, the Joseph F. Sullivan Center is a nurse-managed health center that provides health services to Clemson employees, and community outreach programs to local, underserved communities and individuals. The center provides opportunities for Clemson students studying nursing, public health, recreation therapy, and other disciplines to practice in supervised, state-of-the-art settings.

The center is part of the College of Health, Education and Human Development, which offers programs in nursing, public health sciences, education, and parks, recreation and tourism management.
