Libraries: Feedback sought about research data management practices

Research funding agencies are implementing mandates requiring grant applicants to submit data management plans, and grant recipients to archive and make research data available when appropriate. These mandates require the University and Libraries to develop new services and infrastructure in support of data management planning, archiving, and accessibility.

This survey is designed to help us shape new services for researchers, targeting data management planning, which is a key component of grant applications and compliance.

We have designed this survey to learn more about current research data management practices at Clemson. The survey will allow us to identify gaps in researcher needs and services/infrastructure provided, allowing us to better support data management practices moving forward.

The survey is completely anonymous, meaning that your identity cannot be connected in any way to your survey answers, and it is voluntary, so you can opt out at any time.
