Open enrollment continues through the end of October. The Office of Human Resources (OHR) asks faculty and staff members to review the information related to the programs in which they will be enrolled during the 2018 calendar year. Premium changes become effective on the Jan. 12, 2018 paycheck.
State Health Insurance Plans: State Health Plan premiums, deductibles, copays and coinsurance amounts will not increase for 2018.
State Dental Plans: Basic Dental coverage premiums will not increase for 2018, however, Dental Plus coverage premiums will increase by 4.5 percent effective Jan. 1, 2018. See the premium comparison information below.

Employee Only: From $25.96 to $27.12
Employee and Spouse: From $52.46 to $54.80
Employee and Child(ren): From $60.50 to $63.20
Full Family: From $78.60 to $82.10
State Vision Plan: Vision coverage premiums will increase effective January 1, 2018. See the premium comparison information below. To offset this premium increase, the State Vision Insurance program has been expanded to provide the $150 frame allowance every 12 months versus every 24 months beginning January 1, 2018. 2018 Employee Optional Life coverage monthly premiums

2018 Spouse coverage monthly premiums
Dependent Life – Spouse coverage monthly premiums will be based on the coverage level and the spouse’s age versus the employee’s age effective Jan. 1, 2018. View the 2018 life insurance premiums HERE.
2018 Child coverage monthly premiums
Dependent Life – Child coverage monthly premiums will increase from $1.10 per month to $1.26 per month. One premium provides coverage for all covered children.
