Parking updates, closures and CAT bus reroutes

Parking Lot Parties
Parking and Transportation Services, in conjunction with Clemson Dining Services and Aramark, will host a series of parking lot parties beginning Monday, Aug. 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tents will be set at a different parking lot each day with information, food, and giveaways. Parking and Transportation Services will give away an iPad and an Enterprise Car Sharing membership while Dining Services will be giving away coupons and gift certificates to on campus eateries. Mell Hall: Lot closed Aug. 28 – Aug. 31; shuttle to go into service
Mell Hall lot will be closed beginning Wed, Aug. 28 through Sat, Aug 31 for ESPN production crew’s preparations for its game-day show. A shuttle will be provided from Daniel Drive to Mell Hall from 7:30 – 11 a.m. and 3:30 – 6 p.m.  for displaced employees.

Williamson Road: Temporary closure between the Avenue of Champions and Fort Hill Street Aug. 29
Williamson Road between the Avenue of Champions and Fort Hill Street will be closed from 2:30 – 4 p.m. Thursday, August 29 for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new crosswalk. Clemson Area Transit (CAT) buses will be diverted during this time period. Traffic can still use Fort Hill Street during this time. A portion of the C-7 parking lot adjacent to the stadium will also be reserved during this time for guest parking.

Tillman Circle: Employee and ADA spaces reserved Aug. 30
Twelve employee spaces on Calhoun Drive adjacent to Bowman Field and the ADA spaces located within the Tillman Circle will be reserved for the President’s picnic. ADA spaces will be temporarily relocated to the remaining green spaces on Calhoun Drive.

Cherry Road: Spots reserved spots Aug. 30
On-street parking along Cherry Road will be reserved Friday, August 29 in preparation of First Friday Parade float line up. CAT buses will also be rerouted during this time.
