The Fike Lot (E-5) will be reserved after 4 p.m. on Fri., Oct 25 for the Men’s Soccer match against Boston College.
Poetry Declamation Contest Sat., Oct. 26
The poetry declamation will be held on Sat, Oct. 26 from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Please expect increased parking activity on the East Side of campus in the Brooks Center Lot (C-11) and around Hendrix Student Center.
Green spaces on Daniel Drive and Sherman Street blocked due to construction
Monday, Oct. 28, through Wednesday, Oct. 30 Clemson University Facilities will be connecting the conduit from the manhole on Daniel Drive near the Visitor’s Center to the manhole at the intersection of Daniel Drive and Sherman Street. To complete the installation, 13 parking spaces will be blocked (10 employee spaces along Daniel Drive and the first three employee spaces along Sherman Street from the Daniel Drive intersection).
Carpool spaces expand to meet demand
Clemson University Parking and Transportation has seen increased usage of carpool spaces across campus. As a result, additional carpool spaces have been made available across campus to match the increase in the program. New spaces have been added in C-12 parking lot (two spaces) located off of Williamson Road, E-3 parking lot (one space) behind Lee Hall, E-4 parking lot (one space) behind Sirrine Hall, behind Newman Hall on Collings Street (one space), and in Bryan Circle (two spaces). Please note that all of the carpool spaces in Bryan Circle have been relocated to the parallel parking spaces in front of Wendy’s.
Motorcycle spaces added
Clemson University Parking and Transportation Services has observed that many motorcycle parking areas have been overflowing this year. We are happy to know that students and faculty are opting to save gas and ride mopeds and motorcycles into campus. To accommodate this increase, we have added more than 50 spaces for motorcycles. These spaces are located:
- behind the stadium (6),
- Bryan Circle (15),
- Daniel Drive (7),
- Klugh Ave (7),
- Fernow St. Ext. near Fluor Daniel (11),
- behind Rhodes Hall (21), and
- near the Sheep Barn (3).
