The South Carolina Botanical Garden (SCBG) has reopened after storms damaged a number of exhibits, including the Hunt Cabin and the Natural Heritage Garden. Read more about the storm damage here. Volunteers are needed to assist with cleanup.
Volunteers can work from 9 a.m. until Noon July 17 through July 26, excluding the weekend. Workers will meet at 9 a.m. daily at the Hayden Conference Center to be assigned to a work crew
The Hayden Center will be open for restrooms, cold water and air-conditioned breaks.
Those who would like to volunteer should send an email to scbg@clemson.edu with the dates and times they can work.
