Upcoming tree removal

University facilities will remove 11 trees over the coming weeks in different locations around campus. Most of the trees were found to have significant decay and need to be removed before they fall, which could cause injury or property damage. Don Ham, emeritus professor of Forestry and Natural Resources, has concurred in the recommendation to remove them. Clemson plants two trees for every tree removed on campus.
