Inside Clemson

Wood from fallen tree available for projects; other uses

Photo of a tree that fell on Bowman Field in late July.

Gone, but not forgotten.

The large post oak that fell on Bowman Field last week is being made available first to Clemson University departments for use in teaching and fundraising projects, and then to others for personal use.

The branches/logs will be at Cherry Crossing recycling/compost area ( the old coal yard) from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. during the work week until Aug. 12.  Available on a first-come, first-served basis, the branches/logs must be for personal use, not for sale purposes.

For more information, contact Adrienne Gerus, director of landscape services.
