Farheen Faqeer Shaikh, 23, died Sept. 30, 2018. She was a mechanical engineering graduate student from Mumbai, India.
“Our hearts are heavy at the news of Farheen’s loss,” said Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students L. Christopher Miller. “We’re trying to make sense of this young life, which was cut short much too soon.”
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is providing grief counseling. Students who want to speak to a counselor should contact CAPS at 864-656-2451.
