Myles Stuart Wallace, 69, of Clemson died March 22, 2016. Dr. Wallace served in the U.S. Air Force for many years before he became professor emeritus in the John E. Walker Department of Economics. He retired August 15, 2002 after 22 years of state service, with even more years devoted to Clemson University.
He is survived by his wife, Susan.
A graveside committal service was held March 25. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday April 10 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dr. Myles Wallace Annual Fellowship in Economics in care of Clemson University Foundation P.O. Box 1889 Clemson SC 29633, or to the charity of one’s choice.
