William (Billy) Loren Gallien, student – May 1, 2019

William (Billy) Loren Gallien, 22, died May 1. He was a senior environmental and natural resources major from Clover.

“The Clemson Family is saddened at this tragic loss,” said Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students L. Christopher Miller. “We ask that you keep the Gallien family in your thoughts and prayers.”

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is providing grief counseling. Students who want to speak to a counselor should contact CAPS at 864-656-2451.

Gallien is survived by his parents, brother, family and friends.

The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church, Clover, SC from 1 – 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2019.  A Celebration of life will be held at 4 pm at First UMC Clover, 124 Bethel Street Clover with the Rev. Tony Adams and the Rev. Tommy Wilkes officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC.

Campus Memorial Service information

The Campus Memorial Service for William “Billy” Gallien will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.10, 2019 in Memorial Auditorium at Tillman Hall.
