The thirty mechanical engineering students enrolled in this technical elective worked on one of four projects during the semester which featured sensor and actuator integration under real time data acquisition and control. The theme this year was the use of cost effective National Instruments (NI) USB-based ADC/DAC converters which can be hosted by a laptop running NI’s Labview software.
