This past weekend, the Fightin’ Tiger Battalion participated in a joint FTX with the Furman, Wofford, and Presbyterian AROTC programs. Junior Cadets arrived on Thursday morning and completed land navigation training(day and night). Cadets were grouped into units with Cadets from different schools to expose them to new leadership styles and to garner experience working with strangers. On Friday and Saturday, each platoon conducted three patrolling lanes, under the supervision of ML4 TEs and cadre. Following completion of the lanes on the second day, Cadets serviced their weapons and were rewarded with a pizza social. The Cadets packed up and traveled home the following morning.
The FTB’s ML3s performed admirably and showed their readiness for LDAC 2014. Check out pictures at: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152269264486998.1073741842.58469551997&type=3
