Greetings fellow Tigers!

On Saturday night in Charlotte, our Clemson football team defeated Virginia 62-17 to win our fifth consecutive ACC Football Championship Game. Clemson is the first team in college football history to win five straight conference championship games. The win also extends Clemson’s winning streak to 28 games. What an amazing and exciting time to be a Clemson Tiger! The Tigers now head to a fifth-straight College Football Playoff to face the second-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday, Dec. 28. The selection marks Clemson’s fifth consecutive College Football Playoff (CFP) appearance. With the selection, Clemson ties Alabama (five) for the most CFP berths in history.

The game will be a rematch of Clemson’s only prior Fiesta Bowl appearance in school history. On Dec. 31, 2016, the second-seeded Tigers shut out the third-ranked Buckeyes in a 31-0 victory that sent Clemson to its second straight College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Ohio State enters the bowl season with the second-most all-time wins in FBS history, but Clemson holds a 3-0 all-time record against the Buckeyes.

You can join the Clemson Alumni Association and IPTAY in Phoenix by booking your official bowl tour travel package and have the ultimate experience alongside fellow Tigers. Hope to see you in Arizona!

Congratulations to our men’s soccer team on an amazing season! Unfortunately, the second-seeded Tigers were eliminated in the NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament Quarterfinal on Friday night. After a 1-1 draw, No. 7 Stanford advanced in PKs, 5-4. Clemson’s season comes to a close at 18-2-2, and 13-0-2 at Historic Riggs Field, and just short of a ninth College Cup trip in program history. So proud of our Tigers for their dedication throughout the entire season!

Our students are busy finishing out the semester and wrapping up their final exams. On Thursday, Dec. 19, more than 1,300 students will receive their Clemson degrees during two graduation ceremonies. They are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum. In addition, Ph.D. candidates will participate in a doctoral hooding ceremony at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. For those unable to attend, you can watch the ceremonies live on Clemson TV. Good luck to our students as they wrap up another semester!

B – in the giving spirit!
Thank you, members of the Clemson family, for your enduring support that is helping to move our University forward – academically and athletically. In the spirit of the holidays, giving back is a wonderful tradition to share with others. You can make your end-of-year gift and give back to Clemson – the place we call “home.”

Go Tigers!
