Greetings fellow Tigers!
It feels as though we were just welcoming our students back to campus for the fall semester, but as our graduates walk across the stage today to receive their diplomas, we celebrate the official end to another amazing semester on the Clemson campus. The past several months have included victories on the field, groundbreaking discoveries in the lab, celebrations of our University’s philanthropic spirit, and another exceptional and record-breaking fundraising year. The generosity of our alumni, friends and donors continues to amaze me. Year after year, your commitment, support and leadership is nothing short of remarkable. Without each of you, none of this would be possible. Together, we are moving our University forward and showing the nation – and the world – that we are a championship university.
Today we are celebrating more than 1,300 new Clemson alumni during the December graduation ceremonies in Littlejohn Coliseum. Undergraduates, master’s and doctoral graduates from each college will walk across the stage and embark on new journeys while proudly saying, “I went to Clemson.” The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony was held yesterday at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. Congratulations to each of our graduates! It is with great resolve and determination that they have reached this incredible milestone in their lives. Join me in welcoming them to the Clemson family as alumni!
