Throughout February, CAAH’s generous supporters were quite active on campus.
During their spring meeting, Clemson’s Humanities Advancement Board worked closely with faculty, students and the development team to craft a new strategic mission. As part of their spring meeting, the board visited UGA’s Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, as well as the new special collections library in Athens. Warm thanks to the HAB for rolling up their sleeves and hitting the road with us for a couple of (long) days! And thanks to our colleagues at UGA for their hospitality and collegiality during our visit.
Clemson celebrated its Solar Decathlon team — students, faculty, donors, alumni and staff — at a reception in the President’s box in February. It was a chance to recognize and honor the inspired achievement of our student team, as well as thank everyone who helped raise the roof on Indigo Pine.
At a special donor appreciation lunch in the Brooks Center lobby, we enjoyed the opportunity to thank our supporters for their generosity to Clemson University and especially the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities. After lunch, guests were invited to visit with students and faculty in classrooms and studios across the college, including backstage at Brooks. Here’s a link to a short video of that event, and a slideshow below of some pics from this month.
Thank you, and go Tigers!
