Introduction to the Clemson Veteran Living Library

Hello, and welcome to the Clemson Veteran Living Library! This blog exists to serve Clemson’s former and current military members and their families by giving them a platform to share the stories and experiences that they find meaningful or important.

Our mission statement: To provide a platform where the Clemson University military-connected community can feel welcome to share their stories regardless of identity or background.

The CVLL works through Military and Veteran Engagement’s main strategies, engage, enrich, empower, and educate by:

• Providing a structured space where veterans can see others like them and their experiences.
• Honoring the Clemson Military community by making their stories accessible to a larger community.
• Giving the Clemson Military community a place to share stories that may have gone unheard otherwise.
• Acting as a way to educate individuals on the military experience.
