Clemson student team selected for prestigious competition

A team of Clemson ECE and computer science students is one of only 16 teams worldwide chosen to compete in the Virtual Student Cluster Competition (VSCC). of the SC20 International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis taking place this November.

This is the first year Clemson has been represented in the competition, which was developed in 2007 to provide an immersive high performance computing experience to undergraduate students.

The Clemson Team is made up of:

Griffin Dube – Computer Engineering
Nikolas Heitzeg – Computer Engineering
John Hollowell – Computer Science
Cavender Holt – Computer Engineering
Sarah Placke – Computer Engineering
Sansriti Ranjan – Computer Engineering
Advisor – Dr. Jon Calhoun
