Dr. Brian Powell, the Fjeld Professor in Nuclear Environmental Engineering and Science, was selected to serve as the representative for all Clemson faculty on the University’s Board of Trustees. Powell’s service as the lead faculty representative from the College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences on the Faculty Senate laid the foundation for this next level of service to the University. Serving on the Board of Trustees will give Dr. Powell an opportunity to represent the views of all faculty in setting critically important policies.
