What an incredible story revealed in The Cigarette Surfboard. The documentary film screening was held last week Friday, February 6, 2026. The event was sponsored by the Clemson Environmental Institute, The Department of Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences, and the Sustainability and Environmental Organization Coalition. The cigarette surfboard is made from 10,000 littered cigarette butts on a journey to raise awareness about marine pollution and microplastics. Attendees were able to see and learn how art and activism can drive environmental change. The film director, Ben Judkins hosted a Q&A after the documentary. Go Tigers!
