Welcome to Alpha Phi Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi. The mission of Epsilon Sigma Phi is to foster standards of excellence in the Extension System and to develop the Extension profession and professional. Membership is open to those Extension personnel (including Administration, University and County based Professionals) and retirees who exhibit excellence in Extension programming.
Epsilon Sigma Phi provides:
National and regional professional development conferences
Awards and scholarships to recognize excellence
Communication through newsletters, e-mail, website, etc.
Chapter annual meetings and special functions
Opportunities to serve on chapter and national committees
Support for professional improvement activities for Extension professionals through mini-grants and scholarships.
A selection committee makes the final decision on membership based on the following criteria:
* The candidate has exhibited a cooperative and helpful attitude toward Extension colleagues.
* The candidate shall have demonstrated competent responsibility and educational techniques essential to conducting an effective Extension program.
