Both Fort Hill: National Historic Landmark and Hanover House will be closed Thursday, November 23, 2023 through Sunday, November 26, 2023 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Both historic house museums will close at 4:30pm on Friday, December 22, 2023 and will not reopen until 10:00am on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Regular hours of operation for Fort Hill: National Historic Landmark and Hanover House are Monday-Saturday from 10:00am-Noon & 1:00pm-4:30pm and Sunday from 2:00pm-4:30pm.  For more information, visit: https://www.clemson.edu/about/history/properties/tour.html

The Department of Historic Properties operates Fort Hill: National Historic Landmark, located on Clemson University’s main campus, and Hanover House, located in the SC Botanical Garden, as historic house museums.  Both museums are open weekly: Monday-Saturday from 10am-12pm & 1pm-4:30pm and Sunday from 2pm-4:30pm.  They will be closed on all football home game days, holidays, and when directed by Clemson University.
