Clemson University mourns the loss of Timothy Dantz, a staff member of the University Facilities Landscape team, who passed away on Thursday, July 25.
“Tim was a good man and team member who strongly believed in the importance of his work at Clemson, even though he was in a position that often went unnoticed,” Todd Barnette, associate vice president and chief Facilities officer, said.
“Tim recently completed the Facilities Leadership Development Program and even though he was struggling with his illness, he demonstrated his passion and commitment by presenting his project as scheduled. May we all learn from Tim’s dedication to his job, his Landscape team, and his family.”

A full obituary is available online. Details regarding the funeral service will be made available at a later date.
Counseling services are available to faculty and staff through ComPsych, the University’s Employee Assistance Program provider, at 866-365-0813.
