Free campus parking permits for certain carpool groups; Saturday bus service from Clemson to Greenville begins

*NEW* Carpool groups with 3+ people = Free permit

Parking and Transportation Services is committed to the university’s sustainability goals by always striving to reduce demand for cars on campus. The Clemson Carpool program was created five years ago and has seen increasing interest and group participation each year. To entice more people to join the program, beginning this semester, carpool groups containing three or more persons will receive their parking permit for free. That means dedicated parking spaces across campus at no charge just for sharing your ride into the university.

New parking areas reserved for IPTAY spaces

With the success of our football team and increased season ticket sales, additional parking spaces have been reserved across campus for IPTAY donors.
–        E-2 Parking Lot (P&A/Life Sciences parking lot)
–        The old Gravel lot (now called E-21)
–        All green spaces at the old Parking Spot
–        All green and metered spaces around Gentry Hall

Please note that all faculty, staff, student, and service vehicles must be relocated out of these spaces. If you have a service or departmental vehicle parked in one of these areas, please relocate it to a red space in the Douthit Hill Area  of Daniel Drive away from Clemson House on Hunter, Bradley or Barre Streets. If any vehicles are left in one of these areas, it will be towed.

Lot 2A – Temporary Commuter Parking – Closed Friday

In order to prepare that parking area for game day, Lot 2A, (across from Fike Recreation Center) which has been designated for temporary commuter parking, will be closed on Friday, Sept 5. The lot will reopen for general use when game day parking items have been cleared. People are encouraged to park in the white spaces in P-3 parking lot behind the stadium instead of Lot 2A. This will lot will be closed each Friday before a home football game.
