Clemson Panhellenic Council to receive excellence award

By Alexa Emerson, Class of 2017

The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) has recognized Clemson University’s Panhellenic Council with the College Panhellenic Excellence Award. The award celebrates the success of the Clemson Panhellenic Council in upholding the values and ideals of a Panhellenic through recruitment, Panhellenic structure, area advisor communication, judicial procedures, Panhellenic programming, academics, and Panhellenic community impact and relations.

“NPC is excited to recognize the outstanding efforts of undergraduate sorority women who are working together,” said Panhellenics chair Julie Johnson. “These awards are given to those who are following the standards of excellence set for college Panhellenic associations.”

Clemson is one of 21 schools being recognized with this prestigious award. NPC has a presence on more than 672 campuses in the U.S. and Canada.

The council will receive the award at the NPC’s annual meeting in October.
