As you know, graduation is a milestone for your students; it is the culmination of hard work and shared experiences that will shape their futures and make memories that will last a lifetime as well as form a bond with Clemson for years to come.  Commencement ceremonies are a joyous occasion in which members of the Clemson family gather together to celebrate our graduating students.  As faculty, you are an indelible part of your students’ Clemson experience, and we sincerely hope you will attend their graduation.

To commemorate Clemson faculty, it is with pleasure that we continue with our graduation tradition to honor the dedication and hard work of our faculty.  We have reserved the Coliseum Club, in Littlejohn, for the exclusive use of faculty members who participate in commencement ceremonies.  Food and beverages will be provided. Faculty arrival and line up

All faculty wishing to participate in the processional for Winter Graduation are asked to enter the VIP/Coliseum Club entrance, which is the lower glass entrance on the corner closest to the football stadium. Please arrive with your academic regalia at least 45 minutes before the beginning of the ceremony you are attending. Faculty participating in the processional must wear their academic regalia.

Please note that the faculty procession begins the ceremony.  Faculty will be lined up in two lines 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.  Student marshals will lead faculty through the pipe/drape, separating the club room from the stadium, and proceed to the bottom rows in the center section stadium seating.  This is a highly scripted program, and your timely cooperation is greatly appreciated. Winter Graduation Programs will be provided for faculty and located in the Coliseum Club.

Student logistics

Due to the physical logistics of the stadium, students will gather in the Practice Gym prior to the ceremony and will not line up in an area where faculty and guests will be able to see them.  Please note that the Practice Gym is for graduates ONLY.

If you would like to visit with students on graduation day, you will need to make arrangements to do so outside of Littlejohn.

Parking

There will not be reserved parking for faculty; however, the lot on the north side of the arena will be reserved as ADA parking.
