Employee Referral Program proves it pays to help

Employee Referral Program graphic A successful first year of Clemson’s Employee Referral Program has caused a flood of employees to sign up for the program. With $13,000 in total awards paid to date, now more than one in five employees are participating in the program.

“It’s a real win-win,” says Josh Brown, the University’s director of talent acquisition. “Employees get rewarded for helping Clemson recruit top talent – we’ve hired 26 referrals already.”

Using faculty and staff feedback from the first year, Human Resources has improved the program and expanded who is eligible.
