Fernow Street, between South Palmetto Boulevard and Calhoun Drive on Clemson’s main campus will be closed 6 a.m. Monday, May 21 and will reopen 5 p.m. Thursday, May 24. Through traffic must use Fort Hill Street.
The closure is necessary for the replacement of a sewer line along Fernow Street. Officials say the intersection of Calhoun Drive and Fernow Street will be closed for about three hours on Monday allowing the contractor to tie into an existing manhole. Once tied in, Calhoun Drive will reopen.
