Your benefits: October is Open Enrollment, Pro Benefits EXPO date set
It’s that time of year. Review your benefits and make needed changes during the annual Open Enrollment, Oct. 1-31.
To guide you, PEBA has created an Open Enrollment checklist that you can download here to help as you plan your open enrollment selections this year and to make the following changes:
· Enroll in, change or drop coverage (and manage payroll deductions) for you and/or your eligible family members for health, dental, vision, and optional life.
· Make plans to review your dental coverage, because dental changes can be made this year and cannot be made in 2018.
· Enroll or re-enroll in MoneyPlus.
The changes that you make during the October Open Enrollment become effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Plan to attend the 2nd Annual Pro Benefits EXPO
The 2017 Pro Benefits EXPO will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 at the Hendrix Student Center.
The event includes 20-minute and 50-minute seminars and is the first of two events replacing the long-running annual Benefits Fair.
The more knowledge you have, the better decisions you can make. Participate in the EXPO’s facilitated educational sessions and visit vendors for the latest information on insurance, retirement, leave, tuition assistance and wellness benefits.
The event also offers refreshments and an area where employees can get their flu shots.
