President Jim Clements and First Lady Beth Clements will host this year’s Holiday Open House from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the Almeda Jacks Ballroom, located on the second floor of the Hendrix Student Center. Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend and join in the merriment.

The Clements love celebrating the holiday season. They also love meeting and speaking with members of the Clemson family. The annual open house event is among the few events that allows them to do both.

“The Holiday Open House is one of our favorite events of the year,” said Beth Clements. “It is a great way to kick off the holiday season, and it gives us the opportunity to say thank you to all of the students, faculty and staff who have worked so hard this semester.”

The tradition of holding the Holiday Open House was passed down to the Clements from their predecessors, President Emeritus Jim Barker and his wife Marcia.

The drop-in event will include light refreshments, visits from the Tiger mascot and “Santa Paws,” and drawings for door prizes.
