Need to get rid of sensitive documents? Clemson Recycling and Shred-A-Way will host a community Free Secure Shred Event from 10 a.m. until 3 pm. August 10, 2018. The event will be held in the C-12 parking lot, located near the Perimeter Road and Williamson Road intersection.
Recycling Services Manager Dave VanDeventer said that participants do not need to remove binders, binder clips, paper clips, staples, rubber bands or other fasteners before they are shredded.
To reduce wait times, organizers are asking that participants limit materials to one box or three bags (kitchen trash bag or smaller) per vehicle.
