State finalizes decision on university closure during Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Irma caused University facilities closures in September. For September 11th, and in response to Hurricane Irma, Clemson University made a safety assessment to close its operations statewide despite county offices remaining open. The governor has not forgiven the entire worktime related to the University’s closing on September 11th, and instructions to supervisors and employees have been issued by the Office of Human Resources and the Payroll Office. All other worktime associated with this inclement weather event has been forgiven.
