U.S. Senate Committee on Aging to host field hearing at Clemson

U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) will host a field hearing, “Aging in South Carolina: Biomedical Research in the Palmetto State,” on Wednesday, Sept. 2. The field hearing will highlight cutting-edge biomedical research currently underway in South Carolina and its importance to the Palmetto State. Scott is member of the United States Special Committee on Aging.

The hearing will begin at 10 a.m. in the Strom Thurmond auditorium and is open to the public. Martine LaBerge, Ph.D., chair of Clemson’s bioengineering department, is scheduled to appear at the hearing.
