Dr. Alta R. Kingman of Lake Wylie died on Nov. 15, 2017. She was an associate professor and extension specialist in the horticulture department, who retired in 1992 with 21 years of service.
She is survived by her children, family and friends.
Funeral services were held Dec. 10.
