Billy F. Brock, 88, of Pendleton, who was retired from Purchasing and Supply Services, died December 24, 2021. He worked at Clemson 25 years until July 1995.
After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He then worked at J.P. Stevens until beginning his career at Clemson University, earning the nickname “Big Daddy.”
In recent years, he was a resident of Richard M. Campbell Veteran’s Home in Anderson.
His funeral was December 28 and he was interred in the First Baptist Church of Pendleton Cemetery.
