Dr. Robert S. Lambert, 98, of Clemson died Jan. 10, 2018. He was a professor of history, who retired in 1985 with 32 years of service. He was a World War II veteran decorated with a Purple Heart.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, family and friends.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Clemson United Methodist Church with a reception of friends immediately following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the Clemson United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 590, Clemson, S.C. 29633 or Clemson Community Care, P. O. Box 271, Clemson, S.C. 29633.
