Dr. Rudolph Abramovitch, 83, of Clemson died Nov. 26, 2013. He was the head of the department of chemistry and geology until 1981 and was a Fulbright Fellow in France. This published, award-winning researcher continued his tenure at Clemson as a professor of organic chemistry at Clemson until his retirement in 2006 with 29 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, son, two daughters; family and friends.
Private funeral services will take place in Alabama.
