Sam A. Dillard, retired director of planning and scheduling for University Facilities, passed away on March 22, 2026.
Dillard began his Clemson career on October 22, 1963, and retired on July 1, 1994, totaling more than 31 years of service with the University.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 27, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
