In just one hour, Makayla mastered the advanced skill of Adobe Acrobat remediation. With no prior knowledge of digital accessibility or assistive technology, Makayla agreed to test our team’s draft ‘Guide to PDF Digital Accessibility‘ to successfully revise the digital flyer to conform to WCAG 2.1 criteria. Her Clemson-branded document passed the Acrobat accessibility checker and only needed minor revisions to meet WCAG 2.1 standards and maximize usability. Lillian’s initiative and drive to learn and apply accessibility standards to document design are encouraging and commendable – efforts not to be overlooked!
