Mechanical Engineering held it’s Departmental picnic on Saturday at Nettles Park in Clemson. Faculty and Staff brought their families out and enjoyed a day in the sun and some great camaraderie. Congratulations to Dr. Fadi Abdeljawad and his research group. Their work made the back cover of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Nanoscale journal. In their study, Dr. Abdeljawad and his students integrated theoretical analysis and computational modeling with high-resolution microscopy studies to unravel the role of materials interfaces in the stability of nanocrystalline metallic alloys.
