MSE Adjunct Professor Andrejs Cēbers from University of Latvia has received a prestigious award from the Ministry of National Education of the French Republic becoming the member of the Ordre des Palmes académiques (“Order of Academic Palms”). This is the highest distinction for academicians that France offers. Professor Cēbers is currently serving on an MSE PhD committee and is a long time collaborator, working with Dr. Konstantin Kornev and his research group.
