The South Carolina Review (SCR) is reimagining the southern literary magazine, continuing in the spirit of literary innovation found in the works of writers such as O’Connor, Falkner, Hurston, Welty, Dickey, and Ellison while expanding its range and gaze to encompass contemporary literature from a variety of perspectives.

Now in its 51st year, SCR has been published by Clemson since 1973. It has published notable authors such as Joyce Carol Oates, Kurt Vonnegut, Elizabeth Strout, and Ron Rash.

Contributors to the current issue include: Kevin Barry, Sandra Beasley, Guy Beining, George Choundas, Emily Rose Cole, L. Davis, William Virgil Davis, Carol Dunbar, David Farley, Sarah Grossman, Matthew Guenette, Dan Leach, Cade Leebron, Ray McManus, Lee Morrissey, Oindrila Mukherjee, Angelina Oberdan, Doug Ramspeck, Josh Randall, Shobha Rao, Ron Rash, Judith Saunders, John-Mark Sens, Amy Stuber, and Katherine Williams.
