Brandi Mintz – Administrative Assistant – Bamberg County

Brandi Mintz has been the Administrative Assistant at the Bamberg County Clemson Extension Office for six years. Her background is in office systems and administrative assisting, with experience in a wide variety of tasks.
She maintains the Bamberg County Clemson Extension Office by accepting soil samples, assisting the County Coordinator and other Agents with projects and programs, processing financials & doing accounting for the office, assisting in recruiting & promotion of Extension, maintaining filing system, & participating in meetings. She enjoys being able to help people throughout the county to learn new things about agriculture, horticulture, and food safety & nutrition.
Brandi’s most memorable experiences with Extension thus far involves the Advisory Committee Meetings because she enjoys hearing back from the community about how Extension benefits them and what they need further from Extension. She also enjoyed the statewide Administrative Assistant Training held at the Sandhills Research & Education Center’s lake house in 2018. It was refreshing to be able to glance out at the lake while learning new things!
